Gentle is the Day
By J.Lynne Moore
A gentle day upon the earth,
Carries no foolishness in it’s girth.
The sun rides the rainbow high,
And bids the clouds a fare good-bye.
Her sibling, the moon softly embraces,
The horizon to awaken heaven’s blessed graces.
The verdure springs up, joyfully high,
In the healthy glow of an amber sky.
It’s want and will to rejuvenate,
The sleeping world from its winter state.
The weather’s humor is never lost,
As each new day brings warmth from the frost.
Nature’s honesty is beyond compare;
Shall we all remember to treat her with care.
