Dirty Water

down the drain
it’s washed away
a dirty memory
soapy decay

white washed
now underground
putrid expression
finally drowned

the sink now clean
bleached, fresh
bones will rot
wormy flesh

water’s clear
flowing free
washed away
the last memory
